Bebe au Lait Nursing Covers
In my opinion, this product is an essential for a breastfeeding mother. Unfortunately, I didn’t know about these nursing covers when I had my babies. So, I struggled with finding a big enough blanket, keeping the blanket perched on my shoulder, trying to keep myself covered while peeking in to check on my baby… ugh, I’m getting frazzled now just remembering the stress of public breastfeeding.
Originally called the Hooter Hider, the company now offers these nursing covers under both the Hooter Hider and Bebe au Lait names. They come in many beautiful fabric choices, and have a wonderful “rigid neckline” which holds open the nursing cover so that you can peek at your baby without having to lift up the cover. One of the moms at my son’s preschool was using hers the other day and she looked so relaxed and comfortable — two words that I would never use to describe my awkward public breastfeeding experiences.

Not only does the Hooter Hider work great for … well, keeping your hooters hidden … but it is also handy for blocking the sun when baby is in a front carrier or stroller.
