Cardboard Suitcases

cardboard-suitcases.jpg

I have seen so many items made out of cardboard lately — everything from the tabletop puppet theater we bought for $4 at IKEA a few weeks ago to an actual cardboard crib that costs hundreds of dollars.

These cardboard suitcases from Feather Your Nest are the cutest things I’ve seen in a while - either for storing little toys and displaying on a shelf, or even using as unique and reusable packaging for a gift. They come in three sizes that can be ordered individually in your choice of seven great colors.

$9.95, $11.95 or $13.95 at shopfeatheryournest.com

Those are yummy. I’m very interested in reducing the plastic around here. Cardboard seems just the thing.

I’m with you on reducing the plastic our kids eat/drink from and play with. I have a feeling you would love the buildable cardboard play kitchen created by a super-creative mom named Anna. The link her Etsy shop where you can buy instructions for $7 is http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=9147055
