Civilettes – Portable Thank You Notes

I used to carry around a sheet of dime-size smiley face stickers. When someone would do something particularly nice, I would open my wallet, peel off a sticker and place it on that person. I read about these portable Civilettes thank you notes on a blog (I forget which) a while back, and thought they were great. Much more acceptable to hand a business-card size thank you card to a stranger than slap a sticker on him. And the best part is the back of the card which states “Please reuse.” What better time than the New Year to start practicing and acknowledging random acts of kindness?

You are too cute! I can totally picture you putting a smiley face sticker on a total stranger =) This is such a cool find and a simple way to set a good example for our little ones. And I find myself thinking that I would very much like someday to be handed a Civilette … or a smiley face sticker! Now that would be cool =) P.S. Your site rocks!
