2009 Earth Week Giveaway #2: SnackTaxi Set – Now Closed

snack-taxi-giveaway

I’m happy to tell you that Earth Week giveaway number two is a set of one snack-sack and one sandwich-sack from SnackTaxi. Thanks SnackTaxi!

I wrote about these reusable ziplock bag alternatives a while back, only they were called Happy Sacks at the time. Now they’re called SnackTaxis, but they’re the same product, made by a mom (of course) in Massachusetts.

These little sacks are made from cotton fabric on the outside, with a PVC-free interior nylon lining that’s coated with polyurethane on the side that doesn’t touch the food. They close with a long velcro tab and can be washed by hand, in the washer & dryer, or even in the dishwasher. The winner will receive a set of one snack-sack (6″ W x 4.5″ H) and one sandwich-sack (7.5″ W x 6″ H). They both come in many fun designs.

To enter, just leave a comment on this post by midnight MST on Friday, April 24. Anonymous comments won’t count. The winner will be randomly chosen and announced on April 27. If I don’t hear back from the winner by April 30, another winner will be chosen. One entry per person please. Thanks and good luck!

(And if you’re really feeling lucky, head over to Trusty Pony to enter for a chance to win an earth-friendly tote bag made out of Capri Sun pouches!)

$6.25 for a snack-sack and $8.25 for a sandwich-sack at reusablebags.com

I don’t want to enter the contest-I already own 9 of these and use them all the time! Just wanted to let others know, they *really*are awesome! I’ve only had to wash a couple of them once…mostly I just turn it inside out and wipe out the crumbs. Saves water too! Good luck all!
