Egg Shakers from Vegas
My husband and I just got back from a weekend trip to Las Vegas for a wedding. Just the two of us! It was such a treat. One of the highlights was our first night. Dinner at Olives at the Bellagio, followed by an up-close viewing of the hotel’s dancing fountains. If you happen to be in Las Vegas, I highly recommend stopping by Olives for a Cosmo and their Flatbread alla Napolitana. If I can get my hands on the recipe, I will share it. But I digress. We brought back a pair of these LP RhythMix Egg Shakers for my daughter. Both of our kids have been having a ball dancing around shaking these eggs. I’m thinking I should have gotten a pair for my son too. His dolphin watch wasn’t quite as enthusiastically received.

Our little NHV has egg shakers and her little 9 month old self gets a rockin’ as she shakes, shakes, shakes to the music! So cute! I think these are great for developing rhythm and just having a good time. Of course, NHV also likes to pop an egg in her mouth every once in a while, which freaks me out a little … hope she outgrows the “everything in my mouth” stage soon
BTW: A weekend in Vegas with hubby – sans babe – sound delightful!
