Egglings

So I didn’t quite get our garden planted this year, which is probably a good thing. Last summer I spent far too long standing out in the 115 degree heat spraying massive amounts of water into a garden that eventually produced a few dozen radishes and carrots (no sign of the corn, pumpkin, beans or watermelon). I’m thinking these egglings might be more up my alley. They’re actually made of super thin porous ceramic that looks like an egg. You crack the top with a spoon, and the seeds are already planted in the peat mixture inside. All you have to do is water and plant in a bright spot. They come in a variety of herbs, flowers, wild strawberry and cactus. Made in Japan, world capital of all things this cute.

Thanks so much! I can’t remember the path that led me to these egglings, but it was while hunting around online. I thought they were appropriate for Easter!
