I saw a little photo of the HomeHero in Time Magazine’s recent issue featuring the best inventions of the year. I have to admit, I never really thought much about the design of my fire extinguisher. But the svelte look of the HomeHero did catch my eye. The website says that this new design, available at Home Depot, is easier to use than a traditional fire extinguisher and it only takes one hand to operate. Having an easy-to-use fire extinguisher handy is so important at this time of year, with all the candles and lights on dried out Christmas trees. I once worked with a guy whose home burned down from a candle that wasn’t put out after a holiday party. Word is the HomeHero fire extinguishers are arriving in Home Depot stores now, but they haven’t yet been added to the Home Depot website.
