Yep. May 5 - 9 is officially Teacher Appreciation Week. And if you want to get more specific, this Tuesday is National Teacher Day. As our preschool “class rep”, I’m in charge of getting our teachers a little gift in appreciation of all that they do. I stopped by REI on Friday and picked up two colorful Sigg reusable water bottles. If you don’t live near an REI, you can also get Sigg bottles at Whole Foods. I’ll also be baking them something yummy - just not tonight. Procrastinator that I am, I’m loving that this “holiday” lasts all week long! I’ll soon be picking out our end of the year teacher gifts, and would love to hear your suggestions - especially from those of you who are teachers! We typically give gift cards of some sort, but I’m sure there are some other fabulous ideas that might have more zing than a little piece of plastic.
