So gorgeous! I especially love G – with his typical expression – dressed in pink
I was waiting for CPV to get home from another Rainier summit this weekend so all three of us could call or Skype a Happy B-day … perhaps we’ll try when Mimi is here tomorrow night!
Love from the NW … and Birthday wishes, too!
Thanks Dana! (And Gary’s shirt is actually red, but now I know why you’re seeing pink. Congrats!!)
What are the sponges and squirt bottles for?
adorable! love the colors and little lollipop touches here and there. the garlands are super cute!
The party was in our backyard and we had lots of water play activities like slip ‘n slide, water balloons, a baby pool, etc. The squirt bottles were just for running around and squirting (my kids have had so much fun playing with these all summer. They love to “wash” the windows with their bottles and sponges, and spray each other of course.) The sponge balls were supposed to be for getting wet in the baby pool and throwing, but they weren’t as big of a hit as I thought they’d be. The water balloons were much more popular.
My almost 2 year old is obsessed with circles, and I’ve been trying to come up with a circle themed birthday party. I think I will use a lot of these ideas!
I’m glad to hear it! You should also check out Design Mom’s “Round & Round” party. Lots of good circle ideas there! Here’s the link: http://www.designmom.com/2008/01/round-round-party.html
This party is so cute! Love polka dots so this is great! Daisy~
Can you tell me where you got the lollipops? I love the monochromatic look and everything I find is rainbows – ugh.
Casey, these are Hammond’s lollipops that I bought at Cost Plus World Market. They’re for sale in lots of color choices online too at the Hammond’s web site: http://www.hammondscandies.com/lollipops-c-5.html
