Make your own crispy taco bowls!

I was inspired by these mini crispy baked taco bowls to make my own big taco bowls for dinner tonight. First, I scrunched flour tortillas into cereal bowls…

Then I baked them at 425 degrees for 4-5 minutes. After that, I took them out of the bowls and put them upside down on tin foil to bake up the bottoms — again for about 4 minutes…

Voila! Big crispy taco bowls ready for filling.

These are the perfect receptacles for leftovers. The kids filled theirs with cheese, corn, cheese, hot dogs, and cheese. We had ours with sliced barbecue chicken, lettuce, and all the fixins. It’s always nice when everyone can easily “customize” their meal with no fuss.
