Open-Ended Toys for Preschoolers

At today’s monthly parent meeting at my son’s preschool, we got to talking about the importance of “open-ended”, gender-neutral toys, which are getting harder to find these days. While the cardboard box got top billing, several parents also raved about a few different toys I had never heard of, Zolo and Wedgets. Some of the parents said they got just as excited as their kids to play with these creative-looking building toys.
While surfing around tonight, I found a great website, fatbraintoys.com, that carries tons of creative building toys. Now I’m getting excited for holiday gift shopping!
