Phoenix Craft Rave – Sat. Dec.4
Thanks to my friend Carrie Bloomston for telling me about tomorrow’s Craft Rave. She’s one of 15 artists who will be will be on hand to create fun make & take craft projects with you. In her words, “Think preschool craft tables but for adults – with good music and coffee! Fun!”
Carrie will be making hand-embroidered, free-form greeting cards with participants. Admission is only $5 and then you can choose which items you’d like to make and purchase tickets for each craft (prices will range from $5 to $10 for each craft.) What a great way to support the artists in our community. Plus, it’s perfect for craft-challenged people like me who would like to make our own holiday gifts, but don’t have a clue where to start!
See more about the event and participating artists here: https://www.phoenixcraftrave.com/ .
It runs from 2 pm this Saturday (December 4th) ’til Midnight at 1301 W. Grand Avenue @ Bragg’s Pie Factory.
Bring a friend and come get some of your holiday crafting done! (I’m going to try to make it, but between a birthday party, soccer game, and school picnic, it might be tough!)
P.S. I just added a link to Carrie’s blog, suchity such, over on the side. Here’s a peek at her most recent post, featuring these beautiful hand-painted ornaments she just made for the Phoenix Children’s Hospital:
Happy Weekend!
