Phoenix Fridays – Peach Picking at Schnepf Farms!
Schnepf Farms is open for peach picking! You can come pick your own juicy sweet Florida King peaches from 7:30AM – 4PM today through Sunday. Sadly, I have never been to peach picking at Schnepf Farms – but I hear their peaches are unbelievably delish.
Schnepf Farms is a fourth generation family farm in Queen Creek, AZ. (While you’re out there, you might want to make a stop at the Queen Creek Olive Mill. My parents and sister rave about the place – especially their onsite eatery with a caprese sandwich that’s ta die for.)
Sign up to follow Schnepf Farms on Facebook, and be sure to mention Facebook for a UPICK peachy discount ($1.50 per pound, instead of the regular $1.75 per pound.)
I’ve only been to Schnepf for their Pumpkin Festival, and let me tell you it was HOT! With the beautiful breezy weather we’ve been having, I’d say now is the perfect time to visit the Farm!

For Local Blog

We go every year, religiously. In fact, we’re heading out there tomorrow! I can already taste the peaches…
Have a great time! I bet you’re going to be baking something yummy this weekend.
OOOh, I knew that was this time of year, but I wasn’t quite sure when! We might have to clear our schedule on Sunday…
Oh, shucks. I’ve always wanted to go to the peach festival, too. And yes, the olive farm was really such a pleasant surprise, thanks to Kim’s discovering it in the local “What to Do” brochure when she was visiting from Japan. Amazing what is still undiscovered in our own backyard after so many years of living here. Let’s calendar the peach festival for next year (and hope the weather is as lovely as it is this year)! Love, Mom
Sounds great, guys! YUMM!! By the way, it was actually the caprese *salad* I was raving about!! Their sandwiches are amazing as well, tho…
