Sometimes you feel like a nut

Oh salted Virginia peanuts, how I love you. We were first introduced when my colleague from Virginia would bring back a big can for our cubicle neighborhood to share. I didn’t try them for a while, because I don’t like peanuts. But these are not normal peanuts. First, they are huge. And crunchy like no other. And perfectly roasted and salted for a flavor that is oh so addictive. One year, I bought a 40 oz. can for almost everyone on my holiday list. And then stashed away some 18 oz. cans to have on hand for gifts when I needed them. Feridies sells many variations on the peanut – cajun, garlic, honey roasted, wasabi, hot and spicy, hickory-smoked and on and on. But I will always remain true to the plain salted nut.
$14.95 for a 40 oz. can at feridies.com
