Boil your eggs with these natural plant-based dyes for pretty, edible Easter eggs. I think the packaging alone is frame-worthy. If you’re feeling particularly Martha, Whole Foods has some great ideas on how to naturally dye your easter eggs with food items from your kitchen. Nova Natural Toys and Crafts also sells the [...]

Cardboard Suitcases

I have seen so many items made out of cardboard lately — everything from the tabletop puppet theater we bought for $4 at IKEA a few weeks ago to an actual cardboard crib that costs hundreds of dollars.

Little Kids Wooden Tool Set

Today was the last day of preschool before the winter break. My son’s teachers gave each child a bag of lavender-scented pink, blue and purple homemade playdough as a gift. We got out our box of playdough tools this afternoon and had the best time rolling, cutting, plunging and squishing the freshly made dough! [...]

Simple Packaging and Fun Entertaining Ideas

I have always been a little crazy about packaging, and I love basic brown, white or clear bags, boxes, and containers because I can customize my gifts, baked goods, or party favors just the way I like. So I am going kinds of nuts about a website I found called Garnish. I’m not sure what [...]
