Fun Finds For Mom

Valentine Roundup

I need to get moving on valentines. So much inspiration, so little time. Here’s a roundup of my favorite valentines from the blogosphere, past and present:

First, gumball necklaces. Oh my. You should have seen my 4 year old daughter’s face when I told her about them. Lots of pretty pictures and instructions at One Charming Party.

How about these felt bracelets? They’re from katie did, and you have to go there to check out the arrow bracelets for the boys too.

This one from 24*7*365 is probably my favorite, and looks like a lot less effort than some of the others. Take a photo of your kid with an outstretched fist, develop photo, and insert Tootsie Pop. So cool.

Finally, these matchbox valentines from Inchmark are beautiful enough to be on a magazine cover. Behold…

Now I just need to stop writing about valentines and start figuring out what we’re going to make ourselves!

All of these ideas are so cute, but I love the photo one, especially since it works great coming from a a boy or a girl. You just identified my weekend project for me. Thanks, Elaina!

Oh good – so glad you liked it! We took our photos this morning, and I’m picking them up at Costco this afternoon.

As always, GREAT ideas! I love a good round-up … and this was a doozie! I think the gumball necklaces are my favorite to look at … but NHV hasn’t had gum yet, and I’d like to keep it that way :)

We made a test valentine this morning with the new photo and tootsie pop. It looks pretty darn cool. Now I want to take all kinds of fist photos and stick things on sticks through them. or flowers maybe?
