Wash your hands.
I spotted this sign in my Land of Nod catalog and loved it. Then I went to Etsy.com to check out any other “Wash Your Hands” prints that might be out there — and was surprised to see the very same one. The artist, John W. Golden, has a whole line of “by order of the management” prints — basically taking all the comments that come out of parents’ mouths on a daily basis and turning them into wall-worthy proclamations. Brush your teeth. Chew with your mouth closed. Keep it down. Dishes in the sink. No dinner…no dessert. Wipe the seat. Eat your vegetables. Gosh – makes us sound kind of mean, huh?
He also has signs of a more lighthearted nature. Be original. No monsters allowed. Be kind. Be yourself. Dream big. And my favorite — Sweet Dreams… by order of the management. Here’s a peek at a few:
The signs are digitally printed on archival paper, and cost $20, $60, or $80 each, depending on the size. Or you can buy them in sets. Right now, John is having a site-wide sale. Use the code SALE25 at checkout for 25% off your entire order.
