Fun Finds For Mom

Yipee for Kidlee! (Baby Book & Family Journal)

Some of you may know that my husband and I created a website called Kidlee to make it super easy for parents to save and share memories of all the things their kids say and do. One blogger described Kidlee by saying it’s like Twitter married your baby book. (For the full scoop on Kidlee and how it can put an end to your empty baby book guilt, click over to Kidlee.com.)

We got the idea for Kidlee when my mother-in-law was visiting, and I sat down and went through a jar of little paper scraps I had been using to write down the kids’ milestones and all their funny quotes. My husband saw how much she loved going through all these special memories, and thought — there has to be a better way to keep a baby book/family journal that uses technology and makes it easy to share updates with relatives and friends. We couldn’t find anything had the flexibility and simplicity that we wanted, so we created it ourselves.

We’re coming up on one year since we launched Kidlee. During that time, we’ve been adding the features most requested from our users, updating our logo and website, and most recently, developing an iPhone/iPod touch app to let parents easily enter their Kidlee posts wherever they are.

I am happy to let you know that we received app approval from Apple last night, and now we have  a limited number of promo codes so people can use to try out the Kidlee app before it’s officially launched next month. Since you guys are my peeps, I wanted to give you the opportunity to get in on the action! If you’re interested in receiving a promo code for the new Kidlee app, please send me an email to elaina (at) funfindsformom (dot) com with the subject line “Promo Code”. After you’ve tried it, we’d LOVE to get your feedback.

Thanks so much for your support!

Update: The app is here! Download it in the AppStore: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/kidlee-baby-book-family-journal/id431561846?mt=8#
