Fun Finds For Mom

two girls threads

Have I told you about my friends? I am constantly amazed and impressed at their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. I could probably have a whole website dedicated to their baked goods, home remodels, photography, quilt and sewing patterns and more. Today, I want to tell you about my friend Sarah, the photographer and now skirt-maker. Her company is Two Girls Threads (that pic above shows her twin girls), and she makes upcycled skirts out of t-shirts.

My daughter is lucky enough to have one of these creations — and it is so soft, easy to slip on and off, and of course, tres adorable. Sarah just stocked up her Etsy shop, so there are now lots of choices – or if you want to specify the colors you’d like, you can pick the “custom skirt” option. I’m saving up some of my daughter’s favorite t-shirts that don’t quite cover her belly any  more, because I think she’d LOVE getting to wear her favorite flowers, frogs, and soft pink t-shirts again a second time around!
